Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2015 to be launched next week

The Mayor of the City of Galway, Councillor Dónal Lyons will officially launch the Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh awards at an ‘Information Evening’ which takes place on Tuesday next January 27 at 6.30p.m. in the Blake Suite of the Menlo Park Hotel.

Gaillimh le Gaeilge in association with the Galway Advertiser and with support from The Irish Timesand the Galway Chamber is delighted to announce that Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh 2015 is now open for nominations!

The information evening will provide an excellent opportunity to chat with previous Gradam winners and to peruse the various stands to find out how they went about achieving it. Last year’s overall winner, Denis McCarthy from Tesco Galway, will speak about winning Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh and the positive effect it has on their customers and supermarket.

The Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh moltóirí for 2015 will also be announced at the event and foireann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge will be on hand to answer any questions in order to prepare for the Gradam.

This prestigious award recognises, honours and celebrates all the great bilingual work done in Galway City and is named in honour of Seosamh Ó hÓgartaigh, founding member and company secretary of Gaillimh le Gaeilge.
