Oileain Árainn played impressive football and hit some top-class scores over Achill Island in the Connacht Club Junior Football Championship final last Sunday at Tuam Stadium, winning by 0-16 to 0-8.

They were the better team by far and led by 0-8 to 0-4 at half time. Some outstanding scores by Mairtin Gill, Eoin Pol and Cillian Connolly in the second half secured an historic success for the Oileain Arainn side.
