The second annual team challenge event was held at the Galway Lawn Tennis Club recently with 11 teams in action.
In Section A the Tigers (Chris Collins JC Savy, Czilla Varga and Helena Darcy ) managed to edge the Panthers team of Brendan Murtagh, Alec Sandys, and Jane and Ann Marie Quirke.
The winners in Section B were the Eagles - James Byrne, Mikko Sitlainen, Therese Waldron and Deirdre Byrnes. The runners-up were the Hawks - Vincent Daly, Raphael McCarron, Evelyn Smyth and Pat Folan.
