Open days at Kingfisher Clubs

The Kingfisher Club gyms will hold open days to welcome new members on Wednesday and Thursday January 21 and 22 from 12 noon to 10pm. The open days will coincide with the launch of their spring fitness class programme.

Managing director, Joe Cosgrove, says the club has a “strong commitment” to introducing new classes.

“We are also committed to providing strong guidance and assistance to motivate members and to integrate fitness into their lifestyle. As well as this all the Kingfisher Clubs offer affordable fitness for everyone with gym membership costing from as little as €9 a week!”

Having opened its seventh facility recently at NUI Galway the group is now one of Ireland’s leading health and fitness organisations.

“The Kingfisher Club gyms have everything the fitness enthusiast could possibly want. More importantly the club is the perfect place for those who are first time exercisers or for anyone who wants to simply restore a zest for life. Functional and contemporary in design, the clubs provide workout areas and changing facilities that reflect their belief in high standards and attention to detail.

“The Kingfisher Club offers state of the art facilities which also include a thermal suite, some of same facilities which can also be seen at 5 star hotels such as the K Club, Monart or the Ritz Carlton. Members can escape in the aromatic steam room or perhaps relax in the Swedish sauna not to forget the stress busting hydrotherapy pool.”

The extensive programme of fitness classes include swimming lessons for adults and children, aqua aerobics, body pump, Pilates, yoga, total body tone, stability ball, boxercise and many more.

“The wide range of classes ensures there is something for everyone. The qualified and experienced leisure centre instructors are always on hand for advice on how best members should get the most from their workout. A fully tailored exercise schedule can be devised to suit every individual, this being ideal for those that wish to either lose weight or simply tone up.”
