Sunday lunch at The Ardilaun

The Camilaun Restaurant at The Ardilaun hotel is now offering a three course sit down lunch with tea or coffee to replace the traditional Sunday carvery lunch. The restaurant also provides soft, live, easy listening entertainment every Sunday as an extra touch, a perfect way to while away a lazy afternoon, all for €25 per person, with extensive children’s menu also available. It is the perfect solution for celebrating a family get together, birthday, anniversary, or christening, with a free personalised birthday cake for parties of more than 10 guests.

The restaurant overlooks the hotel gardens so there is plenty of space for families to enjoy the outdoors this summer in the pleasant and safe surroundings of the grounds.

Alternatively Blazers Bar & Bistro is available for more casual dining, with lunch dishes available from just €9.75. If you cannot make lunch, hot food is served throughout the day until 9pm.

There is free live music every night during the Bank Holiday weekend, so go along and enjoy the festival fever. The line-up includes Three Men & A Bass followed by late night DJ Benen Tierney, with Carmel Dempsey and Mike Stewart on Friday night, Noel Fury of Midnight Special on Saturday night, and the Guinness Jazz Band on Sunday night. Advanced bookings for the Camilaun restaurant are recommended on 091 521433 to avoid disappointment. Gift vouchers also available online on, and you can keep up to date on The Ardilaun’s Facebook page.
