The Lads (and one lass) of Comedy

FOUR MEN and one woman make up The Lads of Comedy, and they are believed to be five of Ireland’s best comedians you might not have seen before.

The Lads of Comedy - Kevin McGahern, Trevor Browne, Edwin Sammon, Ronan Grace, and Andrea Farrell - play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday July 5 at 8.30pm. The comic quintet, all of whom are involved in the writing and performing of Republic of Telly, will perform stand-up comedy and sketches.

Kevin McGahern is the host of RTÉ’s Republic of Telly and a star of Hardy Bucks. He has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. Trevor Browne has had three sold out solo runs at Edinburgh and notched up almost 100,000 YouTube hits as a contributor on LightSwitchHat.

Edwin Sammon won the 2011 Father Ted Comedy Competition in 2011. He has played the Edinburgh Fringe and Electric Picnic. Ronan Grace is a regular contributor to the Republic of Telly and is a regular host in the International Comedy Club, Dublin, and he has been highly praised by Colm O’Regan and David McSavage.
