Communities must get their fair share, says Hoade

Galway county councillors must work with communities to ensure they get their fair share and deliver what is required in each area, that is according to Fianna Fáil’s Mary Hoade.

Cllr Hoade was re-elected to Galway County Council earlier today in the first count for the Tuam electoral area, along with Seán Canney (Ind ), Peter Roche (FG ), and Michael Fitzmaurice (Ind ).

Speaking at the count centre at NUI Galway a delighted Cllr Hoade thanked those who voted for her adding that it is a “great honour”. Cllr Hoade, who received 1,886 first preference votes – 24 votes over the quota - said she looked forward to working with constituents in “what is a challenging five year term ahead”.
