Learn to go online for €20 at the Learning Institute

The Learning Institute, Galway, has been successful in securing funding from the Irish Computer Society and is now offering computer courses for beginners for €20.

Participants will be taught how to make use of the internet, send email, use internet telephone services like Skype, and do shopping and banking online during four (two hour ) classes through the ‘Get Ireland Online’ programme.

Everybody will benefit from this training, but it is especially suitable for unemployed people, disadvantaged groups, and anyone lacking basic IT skills.

Morning and evening classes will run from early May. Each participant will attend one (two hour ) class per week for four weeks, for a total cost of €20. Class sizes are limited, so book early to reserve a class that suits you.

Laptops and free parking are provided for all participants.
