Rackhouse Pilfer album launch

RACKHOUSE PILFER, the Sligo alt-country and bluegrass sextet, launch their new album, Love and Havoc, at a concert in Monroe’s Live this Saturday at 10pm.

The band - Leon Mooney (guitar, harmonica, vocals ), Willie Kelly (guitar, drums, vocals ), Fiachra Cunningham (fiddle, Dobro, vocals ), Mark McGovern (banjos/vocals ), Leslie Jones (mandolin/vocals ), and Hugh Feely (double bass/vocals ) - are fresh from a recent appearance in Nashville.

In the country music capital, they were invited to perform alongside John Carter-Cash (son of Johnny Cash ) and Raelyn Nelson (granddaughter of Willie Nelson ). They were also asked to perform on the Viva Nashvegas live internet stream music show and at the Station Inn, where the audience included members of the TV show Nashville.

Rackhouse Pilfer are influenced by Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earl, Ryan Adams, and John Hiatt, and their new album features 88-year-old guitarist Harold Bradley, who has worked with Elvis, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
