In keeping with its tradition for quality service, the Hotel Meyrick will host an evening with Head Butler from the Savoy Hotel London, Sean Davoren on Friday, March 28 to coincide with the launch of its newly refurbished ground floor facilities.

Mr Davoren has had the pleasure of hosting some captivating guests throughout his career and will share his stories at this intimate gathering at Hotel Meyrick.

In the contemporary surroundings of Hotel Meyrick’s newly designed Oyster Grill Restaurant , Mr Davoren will share his philosophy and ideals of the life of a modern-day Carson to the world’s rich and famous - from his most unusual requests, to the need for discretion and emotional literacy.

Through an evening of discussion, guests will delve into Davoren’s knowledge of how to dress, how to interrupt when someone is in the middle of a lengthy anecdote, how to prepare the dining table, how to serve dinner, how to be a lady’s Butler, all while being a gracious host and butler.

Commencing with arrival drinks at 7.30pm and followed by a sumptuous three course meal, guests will enjoy an evening of intimate conversation, entertainment and a sumptuous new dining experience from just €45.

Following an extensive refurbishment, The Oyster Grill Restaurant has been completely transformed and promising top quality dining and attentive service in an intimate atmosphere. The Oyster Grill Restaurant is now taking bookings from 6.30pm nightly and pre-booked group and lunch occasions.
