Get registered for the Annual Aware Connemara Cycle

The seventh Aware Connemara Cycle has been announced by its volunteer organisers and people from all over Ireland are invited to participate in the fun cycle to raise much needed funds for Aware in the West of Ireland.

The cycle event, which is gaining in popularity each year, has raised over €90,000 so far for Aware, all of which has been donated to the charity for local projects.

This event will take place in Connemara on Saturday April 19 starting at 10 am at Leenane. Why not turn this Easter weekend into a great occasion with family and friends while helping a great cause. Avail of our hotel package offers and bring the kids on our Easter egg hunt.

Cyclists of all abilities are invited to participate in this very worthwhile charitable event and there is a 62 km and a 125 km route to choose from.

Breda Golden, Aware Connemara Cycle Committee Member, said: “We are delighted to have raised so much money over the years for a very deserving and local charitable cause. On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank all those who have participated and contributed to the fundraising event since it started.

"We’re really looking forward to the 2014 cycle and I would like to invite all those who have an interest in this charity, or who would simply enjoy a scenic cycle, to join us on this fun day out.”
