The heart and stroke charity Croi’s 29th annual gala ball will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Friday March 21.
The black-tie event is being hailed as “the night of the year” and is a major fundraiser for the organisation.
The evening kicks off at 7pm with a pre-dinner reception followed by a five course meal, top class entertainment and dancing until late.
Special features of the evening include a raffle and silent auction with the addition this year of a “Best Dressed Lady” competition.
Speaking at the launch of the ball Croí’s fundraising manager Barry McCann said the funds raised from this event play a vital role in supporting the charity’s wide range of lifesaving initiatives and programmes.
“We are totally funded from the proceeds of our own fundraising efforts and the annual gala ball is a major part of our fundraising plan for 2014. We invite people to consider this event as a great night out while at the same time supporting a worthy cause.”
Tickets for the event cost €125 each and are available individually or in tables of 10 or 12. Reservations can be made by calling Croí at (091 ) 544331 or visit www.croi.ie for more details.
