Computer courses for beginners and ECDL

Bronagh Kenny Computer Training is taking bookings for the new season of courses. Two popular courses are scheduled — a beginners’ course for adults with little or no computer skills, and the ECDL course for more skilled computer users.

The beginners course is specifically designed to address the needs of those intimidated by computers, this course is the first step on the computer skills ladder.

A morning and evening course will commence on Monday February 10. This course assumes no computer knowledge. On completion of this course participants will be able to write a letter or report, perform basic spreadsheet functions, use the internet and Google to access information on a wide range of issues, book flights, hotels, and shows, pay bills, use Skype, send emails, and set up an email account.

For the more skilled computer user, the ECDL is an internationally recognised course. It is recognised in many organisations and industries and is ideal for those looking for a new job or to enhance their current career. This course will run one morning or evening a week commencing on Tuesday February 11.

Classes are held in a friendly, relaxed, environment. Class sizes are kept small, maximum of eight, ensuring greater individual attention.
