The Disconauts – Live!

THE DISCONAUTS, the Galway/London house music collective, play their first full live show with all six members onstage, in more than four years, in the Róisín Dubh tomorrow night.

A Disconauts’ show sees DJs Keith and Padraic spin soulful house, disco, and Afro-Cuban influenced jams across as many as four decks, creating the vibe for internationally acclaimed musicians to improvise a fusion of club and live music.

Those musicians are the Disconauts brass section of Ben Edwards (trumpet ), Mike Kearsey (trombone ), and Steve Hamilton (saxophone ) and have performed with Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Blur, Radiohead, Basement Jaxx, Paolo Nutini, Madness, and Robbie Williams.

On percussion is the great Mark Anthony Logan. His seamless use of congas, bongos, timbales, and cowbells infuse the overall sound with crowd-pleasing Latin percussion.

Doors are at 10pm and admission is €5. For more information see
