Barrio Populo to bring French flair to Monroe’s Live

BARRIO POPULO “sing of freedom, release the joy, build the revolt, cry and shout about love, keep our feet on the ground, and heads in the clouds”.

This is how the French eight-piece, who play Monroe’s Live on Saturday February 1 at 9pm describe themselves and their folk/punk/rock sound. The show will be part of the band’s debut Irish tour.

The band, who sing in French, released their debut album Désordre in 2012. The band has played 300 concerts across France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, and Britain.
