The business opened in September last year and started out as House of Furniture. With trade picking up by the following month the decision was made not only to stock second-hand furniture but also new pieces. The business, which was recently re-named Furniture House, now sells 90 per cent new stock but at much lower prices.

Avail of the Furniture House trade-in service
If customers wish to buy new furniture and want to get rid of the old Furniture House is also there to help with its trade-in service. The experienced staff are all about customer service so if you think the trade-in option is for you simply email pictures of the pieces you want to trade-in to [email protected] for a quote and, to make things even more convenient, if there is a large amount or full house of contents then Furniture House will go out to you (within a certain radius ). This is particularly handy for landlords who are refurbishing their properties, as a quote for the trade-in of old contents as well as providing new or replacement second-hand pieces is also possible. Some traded in products can then be upcycled and made ready for a new home.
Proving very popular with customers are the re-conditioned mattresses which have undergone extensive steam cleaning and sanitising and have prices starting from as little as €80.
