New book from Geraldine Mills

THE GALWAY writer Geraldine Mills will launch her new short story collection at a literary event in Kenny’s this Saturday.

Galway publishing company Arlen House will launch four new collections in Kenny’s Bookshop Liosbán, at 1pm.

Geraldine Mills’ Hellkite is a new collection of short stories which will be published in paperback at €15, and in a limited edition, signed, numbered, and inscribed hardback edition for €30.

In this book, Mills explores women who are unfaithful to their men, who treat them with contempt, and who lock them away in an examination of cruelty.

Three new poetry collections will also be launched on the day - Birds and Bones by Geraldine Mitchell, Mary Turley-McGrath’s Forget The Lake, and Vivienne McKechnie’s A Butterfly’s Wing.

All are welcome to the launch.
