Tickets are still available for the Friday and Saturday nights of Compántas Lir's Autumn Theatre shows which started last night in Carnmore and runs until Saturday.
The two-play offering is into its third decade and is always a sell-out occasion with audiences treated to an hilarious night of fun and frolics, with refreshments and wine served to their table at the break between the two plays.
This year’s comedies are What’s For Pudding by Davd Tristram and Life After Elvis by Jason Milligan.
It is the main fundraiser for the activities of Compantás Lir drama group, which is one of the leading amateur drama groups in the country, having contested more than a dozen All-Ireland drama finals.
The two plays feature a cast of award winning actors, and are sure to generate much mirth at Carnmore over the four-night run.
