• Barna Basketball Club begin another season with registration day on Sunday (September 1 ) for boys and girls of all ages at Barna National School from 12 noon to 3pm.
People can also register on line by visiting www.bearnabasketball.eventbrite.ie .
Due to the large numbers registering last year from Knocknacarra, Salthill, Barna, Furbo and Spiddal, this year’s registration will be taken on a “first-come first-in” basis.
This season the club hoping to expand to include areas of general fitness, as well as learning/improved basketball skills. The club is also offering a membership fee reduction at the end of the season for parents who participate in the on-going running of the club. Visit www.barnabasketball.com
