JOLT: VOLITION, a new theatre project, centred on creating original work through workshops, festival events, and discussions, is seeking applications.
JOLT, which runs in Galway under the guidance of Róisín Stack and Craig Flaherty, has been awarded an Arts Council grant to roll out the Volition programme.
Volition starts this September and runs until May 2014. It is aimed at those seeking professional support in the development of an original concept for a performance.
Volition is open to anyone who is involved in theatre and participants will be mentored as they develop their original idea and present an individual performance at the end of the project.
Workshop leaders and panellists include Junk Ensemble, PanPan, Willfredd Theatre, Little John Nee, and Macnas’ Noeline Kavanagh.
