Sibling folk singers @ Monroe’s Live

THE PRISTINE, three-part harmonies, and delicate roots-folk melodies of Donegal’s The Henry Girls will be heard in Monroe’s Live tonight at 10pm.

Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin hail from Malin. They play fiddle, ukulele, banjo, guitar, harp, mandolin, piano, and accordion. They will also be joined by a brass section for this Galway Arts Festival show.

Their most recent album, December Moon mixes Irish folk with Americana influences and has won acclaim from the BBC, The Irish Times, comedian David O’Doherty, and Imelda May.

Tickets are available through www.galwayartsfestival.com and the Festival Box Office, Galway Tourist Office, Forster Street.
