DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard leads the way with summer auction season

Tomorrow (Friday ) will see auctioneer James Heaslip take to the auction floor for the first of DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard’s summer auctions. Following the announcement of ots partnership with DNG, Ireland’s leading property services providers, DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard is bringing a total of 10 lots throughout the city and county to the auction floor in its May auctions.

Flying high after the launch of a new look office, the industrious auction team at DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard have worked tirelessly in the run-up to the auction with very positive feedback from open viewings. “We’ve had a very busy few weeks with open viewings twice weekly on most of our auction properties, which have generated a great deal of interest so we are expecting a busy and successful day on Friday,” said Fergal Leonard MIPAV. “Interest in property in general is strong with buyers recognising the value on offer in the market. For example, in our March auction we brought nine lots to the auction floor and all nine were sold either on the auction floor or just after the auction. Private treaty sales are also up and we’ve noticed an increase in the general enquiry levels as well.”

The auctions will be streamed live online on Friday and can be viewed at www.dngauctions.ie, www.dng.ie, or www.advertiser.ie

“We were the first company to stream an auction live online from the west of Ireland with our March auctions, and the feedback we received was very positive,” said James Heaslip. “Some of our vendors who couldn’t attend the auction were delighted to be able to tune in online and generally it seemed to help people become more familiar with the auction process so we’ve invested more in this technology.”

The 10 lots being brought to the auction floor on Friday are as follows:
