Tokyo Rosenthal @ Monroe's Live

ROOTS, COUNTRY, and blues singer-songwriter Tokyo Rosenthal plays a solo acoustic show at Monroe’s Backstage Bar this Sunday at 10.30pm.

Rosenthal’s songs run the gamut from love to politics and reveal the influence of James Taylor and Kris Kristofferson. He has enjoyed critical acclaim as well as honours of another kind.

His depiction of the Canadian city of Edmonton led to Rosenthal being presented with the Key to the City by Edmonton’s mayor. Rosenthal will also be honoured this week by the Mayor of County Clare as part of The Gathering for his song ‘Killaloe’. Check out his most recent album Tokyo’s Fifth.

Tickets are €5 and available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
