Ana Gog to play Kelly’s

THEY HAVE been compared to Arcade Fire and Owen Pallett while their music has been described as post-rock and “folk-inspired and yet dramatic and powerful”.

Dublin based quintet Ana Gog - featuring Salthill native Ciarán McCann - make their Galway debut upstairs at Kelly’s Bar, Bridge Street, this Saturday.

The band will perform songs from their recently released debut album Making Trails. State said it has “a focus on composition and arrangements that might just set this band apart from many other Irish bands”. The Ticket praised it as an “incredibly diverse record revealing a contemporary edge”
