Construction of a new roadway in the city’s eastern limits was given the go-ahead by councillors at Monday’s city council meeting.
Councillors were asked to approve the construction of a two-lane roadway, with adjoining footpath and cycle lane, from the Doughiska Road to the new primary and secondary schools in the area. The matter was approved by the elected members.
