Rail disruption

Rail passengers from Galway will be using bus services between the city and Athenry this weekend.

Iarnród Éirean says the bus transfers will operate on Saturday and Sunday due to engineering works.

On Saturday bus transfers will depart Galway 20 minutes in advance of normal train departure times, while on Sunday buses depart at 8am on the Dublin-Galway route, 7.45am for the 8.05am Galway to Dublin train, 8.10am for the 8.30am Galway to Limerick train, and 10.40am for the 11am Galway to Dublin service. All other services will operate as norma.

Iarnród Éireann is advising travellers to check www.irishrail.ie for full details of the alterations.
