The Galway City Council has announced the details of its refuse service over the Christmas period.
Those routes that would normally have their waste collected on Tuesdays, will have it collected this Saturday instead. Monday’s waste collection routes are as normal. There will be no collection on Christmas Day or St Stephen’s Day. Those areas which have waste collected on a Wednesday will be attended to on Saturday December 29.
The collection services for Thursday 27, Friday 28, Monday 31 (New Year’s Eve ), and Tuesday January 1 (New Year’s Day ) will be as normal.
