Mötley Crüe man for Monroe’s

HE WAS a member of the high priests of sleaze rock Mötley Crüe, he has toured with LA Guns, and worked with KISS’s Bruce Kulick.

He is John Corabi and he plays Monroe’s Live on Friday November 16 at 9pm.

John started his more than 20 year career in music with Angora, before finding success with The Scream, whose singles ‘Man In The Moon’, ‘I Believe In Me’, and ‘Father, Mother, Son’ enjoyed rotation on MTV.

In 1992 he joined Mötley Crüe, taking over vocal duties from Vince Neil for the band’s Mötley Crüe album, which went platinum in the States, and the Quarternary EP. Following this he teamed up with KISS member Bruce Kulick to form Union. The band won Metal Edge magazine readers’ poll award for best new band of 1998.

John Corabi has since kept busy writing and recording and this month he will release an all acoustic album - John Corabi Unplugged. Unusually for a metaller, he is resident in Nashville, where he writes for other artists as well as for his own projects.

Tickets are available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
