Supermac’s gives young hurlers a chance to meet and train with the county stars

Supermac’s is giving young hurling fans the opportunity to meet their Galway senior hurling heroes tomorrow and take part in a special training session.

The Meet the Players Evening will take place tomorrow ( Friday ) at 7.30pm in Kenny Park, Athenry where Galway hurling stars will put young players through their paces.

This training session, with members of the Galway senior team, is for children aged six to 14 who are keen to improve their skills and learn from the best in the county.

Registration for the event begins at 6pm in Kenny Park, with training sessions getting under way at 7.30pm. Children will be divided into their various age groups, and will participate in drill sessions and skills led by the Galway players. Young fans will also get the opportunity to meet the players ahead of their All-Ireland hurling final September 9.

Supermac’s are proud to sponsor Galway hurling for the past 22 years and to be able, in association with the Galway Hurling Board, to help juvenile hurlers receive one-on-one coaching from some of the best hurlers in the country. We look forward to welcoming everyone in Kenny Park next Friday.”

Supermac’s is also offering Galway hurling supporters the opportunity to win tickets to the All-Ireland final in its 22 restaurants throughout Galway city and county.
