• Sean Cleary of Portumna GC, who won a golf scholarship two years ago to Kirkwood Community College, Iowa, returns to his home club on May 28 for a visit. The young golfer is due back after competing for his college in the national colleges tourament, having qualified from the regionals. The college won the team event and Sean Cleary came third individually, shooting 72, 77. The Kirkwood team is currently ranked eighth in the country.
