O’Malley Construction Company celebrates forty years of home building

O’Malley Construction Company has been building quality homes in Galway for over 40 years. The company has also had a presence in Dublin since the early 1990s, and has been responsible for such well-known developments as Churchfields in Milltown, Ballsbridge Wood, Sunbury Gardens in Dartry, and Symphony House on Adelaide Road. Its latest development, built in conjunction with Dorville Homes, is Wyckham Point in Dundrum.

As part of its 40 year celebrations, the company is giving €10,000 to each purchaser towards the cost of a new O’Malley home. A one-day event is being held on Saturday April 28 in the O’Malley Construction offices in Augustine House, St Augustine Street, Galway.

The company is offering properties for sale on both the east and west sides of Galway city. Boireann Bheag and Reilean, situated in Roscam, and Leargan, located on the Western Distributor Road, offer outstanding value on all units. The units in Boireann Bheag include magnificent three bedroom duplex units with spectacular views over parklands and Galway Bay, together with four bedroom semidetached houses, finished to a very high standard. In Reilean, both detached and terraced/end of terrace four bedroom houses are on offer. Finally, in Leargan there are both three and four bedroom houses available. Each of these developments is within easy reach of the city centre and all the usual amenities.

The prices on offer, coupled with the very high standard of finish and quality, are proving attractive to purchasers with terrific value and opportunities never seen before in the Galway residential market. There have been numerous viewings of the showhouses and the properties available to purchase, in advance of the sale event.

There is a limited supply of quality new houses in Galway, and in the current economic climate it is unlikely that new homes will be built for some time, so this represents a great opportunity to buy a new house at a bargain price. The properties on offer are either fully complete and ready for occupancy or require purchaser input in relation to tiling, kitchen and paint colour selection.

This is the last year for which mortgage interest relief will be available for first time buyers.

Viewings can be arranged through O’Malley Construction, by appointment, prior to Saturday’s event. On the day of the sale the showhouse will be open in Reilean and units will also be open for viewings in Boireann Bheag and Leargan. Staff will be on hand to show all of the properties on offer.

Bookings will be taken on the day of the sale in Augustine House, St Augustine Street, on Saturday April 28 from 10am to 4pm.
