This Sunday be sure sure not to miss the Galway Antique Fair, with more than 30 stands, presented by Hibernian Antique Fairs and most of Ireland’s leading antique dealers. It is one of the largest fairs ever in the Galway area. Many members of the Irish Antique Dealers Association, IADA, will be present.
At the fair there will be a particular focus on Irish art and affordable antique furniture, jewellery, silver, clocks, bank notes and coins, china and porcelain. There has never been a better time to buy affordable antiques than right now, and furniture has never been more reasonably priced, and priced to sell.
Ireland’s top jewellery and silver dealers Weldon’s Dublin will be here for the first time as will Maguire’s antique furniture, Co Mayo; Marie Curran ; Greenes antique furniture; Vanessa Parker rare books; Treasure Irish Art, Athlone; and Billy Harnett Furniture, Limerick.
Hibernian Antique Fairs have been successfully hosting fairs throughout the country for 22 years, and this is the first time in The Menlo Park Hotel. The fair will run from 11am to 6pm.
