Seachtain na Gailege special — Win one of two Bábógbabies in our free competition

In celebration of Seachtain na Gaeilge , 5th-17th March, Adrian Devane, creater of the world wide success story, Bábógbaby, the Irish-speaking Teddy Bear is offering Galway Advertiser readers the chance to win one of two Bábógbabies.

Seachtain na Gaeilge runs from March 5-17 this year and celebrates the Irish language and culture both at home and abroad. The festival has built up incredible momentum in recent years, becoming the largest celebration of our native language and culture held in Ireland every year and sweeping other countries up in the whirlwind along the way.

Bábógbaby is also an international success story, with customers as far away as America wanting their children to learn Irish. Educational toys such as Bábógbaby (fondly known as BB Bear ) make learning Irish fun and engaging for children! The bilingual BB Bear has an exciting future ahead having been signed up for a new TV animation series and which will debut next summer.BB agus Bella, a pre-school series based on the bear incorporating language learning, will be seen on TG4 in 2012 funded through the BAI.

Bábógbaby, based in Moycullen, was set-up in early 2010 to provide tools and toys for toddlers, children and parents to learn those first cúpla focal. Since the development of BB, it has become a huge success story with more than 30,000 toys sold in the past year and is now available in more than 100 stores in Ireland, online at www.babogbaby.com and across 14 states in the US.

As well as Irish, Adrian is also looking forward to introducing bears in new languages, and a unique BB app for the iphone, ipad and itouch has also been developed, providing the same function of the actual teddy bear.
