Keywest @ Monroe’s Live

KEYWEST, THE Dublin pop-rock quintet, who have often played Galway both in city venues and busking on the streets, are heading west again.

The band will play Monroe’s Live on Friday February 24 at 9pm to celebrate the launch of their debut album The Message, which is also released the same day on the Alphastar label.

The album features 11 tracks written by the band. It was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Keywest and Mark Needham, who has also worked with Blondie and The Killers.

In a review of The Message, Hotpress said: “Great things are expected from this north Dublin pop rock outfit...the 11 tracks here are almost clinically calculated to induce the kind of mass appeal enjoyed by the likes of The Script. They may just pull it off too...and the band can play their hearts out.”

Tickets are available on the door or through [email protected] and 091 - 583397. See also www.keywestofficial.com and www.facebook.com/keywestonline
