James Horan and the Mayo football squad will play in division one of the National Football League again in 2012. They will open their league campaign with an away fixture against Laois on Saturday February 4.
The following Saturday they have an attractive fixture against the All-Ireland champions Dublin in McHale Park.
The Connacht champions are 8/1 to win the league title this year.
Following their improved performances in the championship last year, they are, at 14/1, the fifth favourites to lift the Sam Maguire for the first time since 1951, behind the likes of Kerry, Dublin, Cork and Kildare
