Chill for charity on Christmas Day

The annual Christmas Day Swim in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland project Voices for Galway is taking place again this year. “Voices for Galway” is a local charity dedicated to the provision of speech and language therapy to children with Down Syndrome in the Galway community.

This is the charity’s seventh year to hold the swim – you do not have to be a swimmer to participate, just be willing to get into the sea and get yourself wet on Christmas morning is what it iss all about.

The swim takes place at Blackrock, Salthill at 11am on Christmas Day and for anyone who has not experienced Blackrock on Christmas morning it is a must and an unforgettable start to your Christmas Day.

If you would like to participate in aid of Voices for Galway, please contact Carmel Hannon on 087-6448277 or email [email protected] to register your name and obtain your sponsorship pack.
