Hurling fans will have the opportunity to meet Galway’s young All-Ireland winning hurlers on Saturday.
Players of both the Galway u-21 and minor teams will attend a special reception at Supermac’s Restaurant on the Tuam Road on Saturday at 12 noon.
They will meet and greet fans, sign gear, and pose for photographs with supporters along with the Irish Press Cup and The Cross of Cashel.
Pat McDonagh, managing director of Supermac’s which has sponsored Galway inter-county hurling and camogie teams for the last 21 years, says: “We are thrilled for the Galway u-21 and minor teams with their All-Ireland wins. They both gave excellent displays of hurling which provides even more hope for the hurling achievements of the county over the next few years.
“The achievements of these young men are testament to their commitment and perseverance. Everyone involved with the teams should be proud of themselves.”
Everyone is welcome to take part in the celebrations honouring the teams, which will include face painting and spot prizes for all.
