Free events for all ages at Coole

Coole Park will host a variety of free events during July and August celebrating the cultural and natural heritage of the park.

Children’s nature activities will take place in July and August on Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 4pm. Places are limited and booking is essential.

Lady Gregory - 80 Tumultuous Years, a walk and talk exploring the remarkable life and times of Lady Augusta Gregory, will take place on Thursdays throughout July and on August 11 and 18.

The Trees of Coole, a tree walk from Gregory times to the present day, will take place this Sunday. The walk will also take place on Sunday July 24, and on Sunday August 14.

Sunday July 17 will see the first of a series of family walks in Coole, with walks also taking place on Sunday July 31 and Sunday August 28.

All walks start at 3pm at the visitors’ centre. Family walks take one hour. The tree walks and Lady Gregory walks take 90 minutes. Booking is not necessary for these events.
