Show me the money — seminar on cash collection for SMEs

A seminar on cash collection for small and medium sized businesses will be held in Ballybane Enterprise Centre on Wednesday May 25.

Entitled "It's Your Money - here's how to get paid (and keep getting paid )” the seminar, which is organised by St. Columba’s Credit Union will show business owners how to get paid what is owed right now; and advise on how to get it right from now on.

Delivered by credit management expert Declan Flood from the Irish Institute of Credit Management, this course is designed to give business owners better results quickly with a minimum of stress and loss of valuable time.

The seminar will commence at 2pm and conclude at 4.30pm. In anticipation of demand for places, Ballybane Enterprise Centre has added an additional seminar commencing at 6pm and concluding at 8.30pm.

Comments Liam Bluett, Manager Ballybane Enterprise Centre, "In these straitened economic times, many businesses who give credit to others are finding their levels of debt increasing. This seminar will address these issues and give those attending a step by step plan to effectively manage their credit and get paid on time."

Participants on the course will learn the importance of building strong relationships with customers, how to categorise customers, and what questions to ask. They will also receive expert advice on what to report on and how to follow up relentlessly.

"Ff credit is an issue- this event is vital for the future of your business,” said Mr Bluett.

Places can be reserved by contacting Mark or Tomas in Ballybane Enterprise Centre on 091 386004. Places are strictly limited so early registration is advisable.
