Alan Carr - chatty man is Galway bound

IT COULD be the comedy event of the year in Galway - Alan Carr of The Friday Night Project and Chatty Man, will play the Black Box this summer.

Off The Kerb Productions and Róisín Dubh Comedy presents Alan Carr in The Black Box Theatre on Friday June 10.

Following a four year break where he concentrated on television work, Alan has decided to return to stand up comedy and the autumn will see him embarking on a 33 date arena tour (including Dublin’s O2 and Belfast’s Odyssey ) and he has chosen Galway’s Black Box to preview and perfect his show.

As this show is very much a work in progress it is important to realise that Alan will most likely be performing from notes.

Nobody does catty arch-sarcasm like Alan Carr. He is an absolute natural on stage, and a born storyteller. Get your tickets early for this one, it will undoubtedly sell out.

Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh, www.roisindubh.net, the Town Hall (091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie ), and The Ticket Desk (091 - 509960 ).
