Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Eyre Square on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened at 9.40pm on Friday December 31. A man was assaulted by two other men, both of whom are believed to be in their twenties. One of these men was wearing dark clothes and the other wore a white and blue top with blue jeans.
