Cancer Care West launches 2010 Christmas cards

Cancer Care West held the launch of its 2010 Christmas card collection on Thursday last at its Cancer Support Centre on Seamus Quirke Road. The cards feature a wonderful collection of images of Galway city and county.

Richard Flaherty, Cancer Care West CEO, expressed his gratitude for all the fundraising efforts carried out by local communities and individuals throughout the year. He said Christmas cards are a fantastic way to send Christmas wishes to loved ones, friends, and colleagues over the festive period, while also supporting your local charity.

Cancer Care West Christmas cards are available for purchase online at cancercarewest.ie, by calling Cancer Care West at (091 ) 545000 and in all good retail stores around the west of Ireland (see cancercarewest.ie for further details ). Packs cost just €7 for 12 cards and a corporate e-card will also be available for purchase online.

Christmas card sales are an important source of funds for Cancer Care West, and people are asked to support their local charity. All proceeds go towards funding Inis Aoibhinn, Cancer Care West’s residence, and the cancer support centre. All services provided by Cancer Care West are made available to patients and their families at no cost.
