County champions Killererin and St James dominate the 2010 Claregalway Hotel Dream Teams announced this week.
Senior Championship winners Killererin have been rewarded for a successful year with six players on the team, while beaten finalists Corofin have four. Three players are picking up their second award - goalkeeper Brian Donnellan from Mountbellew/Moylough and Corofin duo Alan O'Donovan and Kieran Fitzgerald.
Two players on the intermediate team have the unique distinction of being named on all three dream teams since the concept was launched in 2008 - St James' Paul Conroy and Carna/Cashel's Niall Coyne. Kilconly's Kevin Brady and St James' Johnathan Duane will also receive their second award.
The winners were voted for by the public from a list of nominations uploaded on The Claregalway Hotel Football Championship page on Facebook. The final adjudication was made by a panel of experts.
The hotel will host the special awards dinner on Friday November 26 when a surprise high profile guest of honour will present each of these 12 champions with his awards on the night. A limited number of tickets will be available for the night. For details please call 091-738200.
