Andrew Maxwell - saying it like you mean it

ANDREW MAXWELL doesn’t mince his words. He just comes straight out with it and if that doesn’t suit you so much the better.

Mediocrity, snobs, child molesters, religious fanatics, and dogmatic atheists, are all deservedly held up to fearsome ridicule, critiques, and rants that are as merciless as they are funny.

Andrew has proven one of the best and most popular of the current generation of Irish comedians through his appearances on RTÉ’s The Panel and his own stage shows.

Renowned for sharp, fast paced, streams of consciousness and well-observed retort, Andrew baits the crowd by challenging the controversial or taboo, engaging audiences with myriad subjects.

Andrew will be performing at this year’s Galway Comedy Festival. He will headline at the Radisson Live Lounge tomorrow at 8pm with Dead Cat Bounce, Eric Lalor, and Brendon Burns.

He will also be the MC for the show in the Radisson featuring Colin Murphy, Abandonman, and Carl Donnelly on Sunday at 10pm. Andrew also plays the Róisín Dubh on Saturday at 10pm.

For tickets contact Zhivago, Shop Street, the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777 ), or see www.galwaycomedyfestival.com A limited number of tickets will also be available on the door.
