New Opel Meriva is an ergonomic dream

The award-winning new Opel Meriva is a champion of ergonomic design.

With a suite of innovative features, the new Meriva boasts a line-up of three attractive trim levels and five engine variants.

The first trim is the Meriva S, starting from €19,995, featuring generous levels of standard equipment, including flexdoors®, flexspace® flexible rear seats, flex floor, ESP, twin front airbags, front side-impact airbags, electric parking brake, CD player with MP3 connection, electrically operated front windows and remote control central deadlocking.

Meriva S is available with two petrol engines: a 1.4 naturally aspirated 100PS unit and a turbo charged 1.4 120PS variant. The two diesels available at launch include both 1.3 CDTi (75PS ) and 1.7 CDTi (100PS automatic ) engines.

The SC model includes more style and equipment, ranging from the flexrail® centre console system with aluminium rails and sliding tray/cup holder, full-size curtain airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, steering wheel mounted audio controls, and rear courtesy lights. It starts from €21,195. A third petrol engine (140PS variant of the 1.4 turbo engine ) joins the line-up for the SC trim.

The Meriva SE is the top-of-the-range model featuring a panoramic glass roof with electrically operated sunshade, 16-inch alloy wheels, dark-tinted rear glass, multi-function trip computer, electrically operated rear windows, leather-covered steering wheel, front sliding centre storage module with armrest, and front and rear door sill step plates on the SE. Pricing starts from €22,695. All five engine variants are available with the Meriva SE trim.
