The Girls’ Night Out! fundraising fashion show for all ages in aid of the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children and Scoil Iognáid takes place at the Westwood Hotel on Thursday September 30 at 8pm.
Those attending the fashion show will enjoy a sneak preview of the upcoming autumn/winter trends modelled by Catwalk Model Agency. There will be a free glass of bubbly, compliments of Clada Minerals, or a gorgeous cocktail.
City centre stores participating in the show include French Connection, Select Boutique, Rococo, Colette Latchford, Treasure Chest, Áil Rúin, Zebra ‘Not just black & white’, and Sugar Pink.
Judy Greene’s Design concourse will feature in the show, with accessories and bags. Children from Scoil Iognáid will model the key looks for autumn/winter with clothes from Klassy Kids and Mexx.
Prizes can be won on the night, including a two-day family break to the Holiday Inn Killarney.
“The idea for the fashion show is to raise funds for Baboró following a five per cent cut in funding this year,” said Baboró general manager Teenagh Cunningham. “For the past 14 years Scoil Iognáid has booked numerous shows for their students and every single class attends a show from junior infants right up to sixth class.
“Partnering with Scoil Iognáid gives us an opportunity to give something back, and the proceeds will help provide funding towards the school’s plan to install interactive whiteboards in every classroom.”
Tickets are €20 from Scoil Iognáid, Baboró, and all participating shops. For more information contact Baboró on 091 - 562667.
