Family fun day and motorsport show returns to Oranmore

Following the success of last year’s family fun day and motorsport show , Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs in Oranmore is announcing that it will once again host the family day out.

The event, run in aid of CD’s Helping Hands, the children’s cancer charity for the west of Ireland, will take place on Sunday July 18 from 2pm to 6pm. Visitors will be treated to displays such as stunt riding by Mattie Griffin, kick boxing by Ken Horan and various aqua displays courtesy of Galway’s Atlantaquaria.

With face painting, bouncy castles, rally cars, vintage cars, and helicopters on site the fun day out offers something for every member of the family both young and old. There is no admission charge, but visitors are invited to make a donation to CD’s Helping Hands on the day.

CD’s Helping Hands is a Galway based charity which provides support services for the families of children from the west of Ireland who are affected by childhood cancer. The charity was set up in 2006 and is the only dedicated charity for children suffering from cancer in the country. The organisation works with families to find a way to help them to organise their lives, and day to day living while aupporting the cancer patient in recovery
