Turloughmore became only the second Galway club to win division one of the Féile na nGael and win the Christy Ring Trophy.

In Cusack Park, Ennis, on Sunday they earned a well-deserved five-point win (0-12 to 1-04 ) over Na Piarsaigh from Cork.

The Galway lads led by 0-6 to 0-2 at the break with Sean Linnane, Conor Shaughnessy and Richard Doyle dominant in their positions.

The champions were also well served by Keith Herwood, Ultan Hurney, Jamie Holland, Richard Doyle and Cathal Whelan.
