Celebrate good wine at O’Brien’s opening

O’Brien’s Wine Beer and Spirits has announced the opening of its newest store at the Galway Shopping Centre.

Store manager Peter Hughes from Knocknacarra in Galway is looking forward to the challenge of a new store. “I am absolutely delighted to be part of the O’Brien’s team,” he said. “The company has established itself as one of the market leaders in wine retail here in Ireland by consistently delivering the highest quality products and offering the best value. I look forward to introducing the people of Galway to our exclusive wine range from many top producers worldwide.”

The state of the art designed store will open on Saturday September 5 at 10am. There will be more than 100 wines on promotion some with discounts of up to 50 per cent, and there will be a glass of fizz for customers to toast the new store on the opening day.

Special offers and promotions on beer and spirits will be running throughout the month of September. O’Brien’s stocks more than 1,000 wines and also has one of the largest beer and spirits ranges in the country. Beers can all be bought chilled and there is a full range of mixers and snacks available.

Customers who sign up for loyalty club membership will be able to avail of extra discounts and opportunities to attend special wine tasting events and dinners throughout the year.

O’Brien’s is a previous winner of the FBD Retail Excellence Ireland award for Best Store in Ireland for its branch in Limerick and Mr Hughes looks forward to maintaining the same high levels of service and quality standards at the new branch in Galway.

The Galway store will bring the O’Brien’s store portfolio to 28 outlets and is the first store it will open in Galway.
