A new website has been launched to give Galway people comprehensive information about public transport in the city and beyond. www.GalwayTransport.info has a map showing every bus route in the city, along with detailed information about areas they go through, and links to timetable information. It also has links to services from towns in Co Galway and the surrounding areas, including services to GMIT and NUIG.
The site also features a map of industrial estates and business parks around the city, with details about how to reach them using public transport. For tourists, there are details about airport connections, and bus directions for some of the major attractions outside the city centre. New information is constantly being added, with maps of taxi-offices and bicycle stands available soon.
